As an emerging destination, Alor has avoided over-development and tourist crowds. Facilities are developing and there are at present only a few local accommodation options to choose from. We can book accommodation for you at the following:

BACK TO NATURE
MARANGKI KEPA
As of 2024 Marangki Kepa is being run by Lazy Turtle Dive. We are committed to maintaining the respected Marang Family ethos of a friendly and personalised service. The resort comprises 4 thatched wooden bungalows with a back-to-nature atmosphere, ideally located on Kepa Island, 2 mins across the narrow channel from Lazy Turtle Dive.

There is no mains electricity or piped water on Kepa so each bungalow has solar lighting, and the ensuite bathrooms have gravity-fed showers. We run a generator for 2 hours in the evenings to charge your devices. If that's not enough we can charge your camera and dive light batterries if at lazy Turtle and bring them freshly charged on the boat each morning.

The beds have comfortable sprung mattresses and mosquito nets. Relax after diving on your private balcony or a thatched 'lopo' overlooking the water - great for watching the dolphins playing out front. We offer excellent home-cooked Indonesian meals, almost-cold beer and a darts board.

AUTHENTIC ALORESE
LEREBENG HOMESTAY
Experience local life at this welcoming family home just a 3 minute walk from Lazy Turtle Dive Centre. Facilities include fan or AC rooms and a shared bathroom with a bucket/scoop shower. Ibu Ati's excellent cooking ensures you will soon replenish any calories burnt underwater.

IDR 375 per person per night for fan only or IDR 400.000 per person per night for AC. Includes breakfast and evening meal. Lunch on diving days is provided at Lazy Turtle or Marangki depending on our logistics.
CITY STYLE
SIMFONY HOTEL
Alor's newest 3 star hotel is situated in Kalabahi. Well appointed rooms with AC, Hot water, TV and two restaurants, including a roof top terrace with great sunset and water views.

Guests will be collected by AC car for the 40 min drive to Lazy Turtle Dive.
